The Evergreen State College in Olympia was featured in the latest edition of “The Princeton Review’s Guide to 332 Green Colleges.”
The publication highlighted Evergreen’s free bus pass program, heating and water conservation systems for campus housing and student green energy fee.
“Green thinking is integrated not only in the way we operate our campus, but in everything we do at Evergreen,” Scott Morgan, the college’s director of sustainability, said in a news release. “Some 70 percent of our curriculum integrates our commitment to the environment and sustainability. It’s woven into the very fabric of our identity and history as an institution.”
