Expand Army courses, offer them through state

TumwaterApril 25, 2014

I accidentally was in the same small space as Robert M. Gates, the 22nd secretary of Defense, two days in a row. I introduced myself to him. If I could have a re-do on the conversation, I would have said this: Please expand the AFTB (Army Family Team Building) online education courses and expand the resiliency courses to the master level. Build the number of spouses using the team-building courses offered through ACS (Army Community Services).

The more online courses available through ACS the better. The Army is reaching the needs of the soldiers and their families.

The state of Washington should offer these courses to anyone interested as well.
