March of Dimes event raises $65,000 in Olympia

A fundraiser in Olympia for March of Dimes raised more than $65,000 Saturday, according to a news release.

Four hundred people gathered at Heritage Park for the March for Babies. Money raised from the event funds research, awareness, education and local community grants to see that all babies are born healthy.

The most urgent infant health problem in the U.S. today is premature birth, according to the March of Dimes.
