Homeland Security serves warrant in Thurston County

Investigators with the Department of Homeland Security served a search warrant Wednesday morning at a residence in the 3700 block of Eagle Drive NE, off of Hawks Prairie Road.

Investigators with the Department of Homeland Security served a search warrant Wednesday morning at a residence in the 3700 block of Eagle Drive NE, off of Hawks Prairie Road.

Andrew Munoz, a spokesman with the Department of Homeland Security, confirmed Wednesday that the warrant was being served. He said that its contents are under seal, and he declined to discuss the nature of the ongoing criminal investigation.

A detective with the Thurston County Sheriff's Office accompanied DHS as the warrant was being served.

No other details were available Wednesday.
