 • In a battle of the top two baseball teams in the 1A SWW Evergreen Division, Rochester downed Tenino, 12-1, in the first game of a doubleheader behind Dustin Wilson’s three-run homer in the fourth, but the Beavers came back to win Game 2, 5-2, on Kaleb Strawn’s complete-game four-hitter.

 • Leif Hansen, Tyler Wambold and Josh Christoffer combined for five extra-base hits — all doubles — in Olympia’s 9-5 win over Stadium to even its 4A Narrows League record at 6-6.

 • Tate Determan, Henry Coates and Nate Hutson had two hits apiece to help Black Hills snap its two-game losing skid for a 8-5 win over Centralia in 2A EvCo baseball and earn its sixth league victory.

 • Led by Emma Charlston’s win at No. 1 singles and Lena Lee and Taylor Koch’s No. 1 doubles win, Yelm topped Central Kitsap in 4A Narrows girls tennis, 4-1.

 • Audrey Marlatt’s 43 to earn medalist honors helped North Thurston to a 88-80 win over Shelton in 3A Narrows girls golf at Hawks Prairie.
