Thieves steal $20,000 worth of equipment and tools from Evergreen

Police Services at the Evergreen State College are seeking those responsible for stealing $20,000 of equipment and tools from a maintenance shop in the 3500 block of Driftwood Drive NW.

During the April 30 theft, the suspects cut a fence to gain entry to the maintenance shop. Once inside, the suspects broke into eight vans and stole drills, grinders, saw and other electrical construction equipment.

The investigation is ongoing. Anyone with information about the thefts is encouraged to call TESC police at 360-867-6832 or Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-TIPS (8477). Crime Stoppers will pay up to $1,000 for information leading to an arrest and charges being filed in connection with this, or any other crime.
