Cancer patient suffers from pain pill pressure

OlympiaMay 12, 2014

Hello, I am a cancer patient/survivor. I have been fighting Anaplastic Large (T)Cell Lymphoma for over five years now. I have been through astounding amounts of pain throughout my ordeal, especially the last three years.

Doctors are so pressured into not prescribing pain pills that even people in my condition cannot get the medications that are required to elevate their qualities of life. I have stomach and back pains that double me over; defecating is so painful that I scream out on the toilet; I have no energy whatsoever and yet cannot get a single doctor to give me pain medications.

It’s a cruel, sick world we live in.
