More than automobiles causing climate change

OlympiaMay 15, 2014

There’s no question that climate is changing, but all the hype about human-caused carbon is just that — hype. Ask how much carbon wildfires released into the atmosphere just in the U.S. last year. Ask how much carbon volcanoes release into the atmosphere during one eruption.

Here we have the UW report that paints the catastrophic declines in snowpack in the Cascades, which, if true, would significantly reduce the water available to people in Washington. Yet, we continue to add to our population and face water rationing every summer.

If you’re serious about climate change, then recognize it’s coming, and deal with the real problems. Driving an electric car that you charge from water-produced electricity might salve your conscience, but it is not going to reduce the impact from climate change.
