Tacoma man dead, Lacey man injured in Mason County rollover

A Tacoma man was killed Thursday when the 2000 Audi he was driving left the roadway to the right, rolled and came to rest upside down, and submerged in Lake Cushman, in Mason County, according to a press release from the Washington State Patrol.

Joseph T. Dusek, 20, of Tacoma died at the scene.

A passenger in the car, Keith A. Stetler, 19, of Lacey, was able to escape the vehicle, but was injured. He was taken by medics to Mason General Hospital, in Shelton.

It is unknown what the cause of the accident was, but both driver and passenger were wearing seat belts.

No charges have been filed.
