Timberline grad awarded Military Outstanding Volunteer Service Medal

Army Sgt. Travis L. Houskeeper, awarded the Military Outstanding Volunteer Service Medal for performing continued outstanding volunteer community service.

Army Sgt. Travis L. Houskeeper has been awarded the Military Outstanding Volunteer Service Medal for performing continued outstanding volunteer community service.

The medal was created to recognize exceptional community support over an extended period of time, instead of recognizing a single act or event.

Houskeeper is the Assistant Noncommissioned Officer in charge of the pharmacy at General Leonard Wood Army Community Hospital, Fort Leonard Wood, Mo.

He is the husband of Cynthia L. Houskeeper, of Fort Leonard Wood.

Houskeeper is a 2001 graduate of Timberline High School, Lacey.
