Much attention has been focused on the botched execution in Oklahoma. Details of how the man died were discussed in several media outlets. I do not recall hearing much about the victim, what she went through, and the horrific details that gave him the death penalty in the first place.
Perhaps an equal reporting wouldn’t give so many people the tear-jerk reaction that has been reported. I think you’ll find more people felt this man died accordingly, compared to his victim, and that’s why the state of Washington voters wanted to keep this law intact.
If Gov. Jay Inslee wants to know where Washingtonians stand, perhaps we need to vote again.
