American people want answers about Benghazi

LaceyMay 22, 2014

In response to Eugene Robinson’s column on May 17: I don’t understand his rationale. He condemns the Republicans for wanting answers to, “why didn’t the U.S. protect our people in Benghazi?” There are people other than Republicans who want answers to that question, and we don’t accept, “what difference does it make now?”

There is a great deal of talk and sadness about the kidnapped girls in Nigeria. If that is an appropriate subject, then why not Benghazi? Who is Robinson going to blame for all the coverage about the kidnapped girls ... the Republicans? I think not because if the Democrats support a cause, then he and others must believe that is fine. But really, what difference does it make?
