Shipping news: Global Peace will follow Star Gran

It's back-to-back ship visits at the Port of Olympia this week as the Global Peace is set to arrive a day after the Star Gran leaves.

Global Peace will load logs at the port through early next week.

Ship visit details:

-Flag: Singapore

-Destination: Hiro, Japan

-Cargo: about 5.5 million board feet of raw logs

-Customer: Weyerhaeuser

-Work schedule: day shifts Thursday, Saturday, Monday and Tuesday
