It’s road construction season, and there are night lane closures scheduled the week of June 9 on northbound Interstate 5 near Grand Mound, according to the Washington Department of Transportation.

Drivers on the road between 9 p.m. to 5 a.m. Monday, June 9, to the morning of Friday, June 13, can expect two or more lanes closed on I-5 near the Thurston-Lewis County line, where crews are installing new reflective lane markings.

The closures will be done in two-mile increments and are weather-dependent.
