Baseball: 5 locals to play in All-State Series in Yakima June 14-15

Five Thurston County senior baseball players will take part in the annual All-State Baseball Series at Yakima County Stadium June 14-15.

Tumwater's Garrett Terrell (Central Washington signee) and Luke Hare (Saint Martin's), along with North Thurston's Ryan Mets (Oregon State) and Riley Storedahl (Edmonds CC) and Rochester's Dustin Wilson will play in the all-senior all-star games. Players are selected to the all-state series.

Noteworthy 2014 season stats from each player:

-- Terrell (Team Baker): 2A EvCo MVP, .304 BA, 9-1 record, 1.26 ERA.

-- Hare (Team St. Helens): .504 BA, 6-1 record, 1.36 ERA.

-- Mets (Team St. Helens): 3A Narrows MVP, 7-5 record, 134 Ks, .308 BA, 18 RBI.

-- Storedahl (Team Rainier): 3A Narrows co-pitching MVP, 8-1 record, 85 Ks, 0.75 ERA.

-- Wilson (Team Adams): 1A SWW Evergreen MVP, 11-2 record, .425 BA.
