Illegal fireworks already annoying neighborhoods

OlympianJune 16, 2014

Here we go again, it’s only June 7 and the explosions and rockets are going off. State law prohibits any fireworks that blow up or go up in the air. Yet every year our people and animals have to put up with this for almost two months.

The Thurston County Sheriff’s separtment say they are too busy to investigate fireworks. I think it is thier duty to keep the peace, something that we are lacking when the tribes start selling all this illegal stuff.

We all have the right to live in peace, we pay taxes for it. It is time to enforce the law. Keep this stuff on tribal lands and not in our neighborhoods.
