Lisa David, the co-owner of Olympia's Nineveh Assyrian Food Truck, announced today that Thursday will be "Dine Out For Iraq" day.

"After a few days of feeling completely helpless I decided to put together a last minute fundraiser," David said. Sectarian violence is shattering Iraq as Sunni insurgents over-run key cities. Citizens caught in the crossfire are fleeing urban centers.

On Thursday David will donate 50 percent of all sales to a relief effort administered by the Assyrian Aid Society.

The truck is located at the corner of 4th and Plum Streets in downtown Olympia.
