Kids today not taught to respect other things

June 21, 2014

Reading all about shootings and people blaming guns - then I read about a video where Lacey kids are kicking and throwing a puppy. If parents cannot instill respect for life in their children then they are to blame for what happens when the child then lacks respect for anyone and anything.

And, as an aside, why aren’t the parents of those children watching them more closely? Summer is coming and there needs to be some responsibility of parents knowing what their children are getting into.

I just recently had to request kids to leave our farm - they had crawled over the fences - and there are “no trespassing” signs all along the fence line.

Another point that kids are not being taught to respect others.
