Did the IRS lose emails on purpose, ala Nixon?

June 23, 2014

So the IRS lost two years of emails from Lois Lerner, the former head of the IRS’s tax-exempt status department, due to a hard drive failure on her PC? Come on. Emails are backed up all the time, deleted or not, they are backed up. Just ask Oliver North from decades ago.

This blatant lie pales in the face of even trivial examination. But the Obama Administration playbook is clear: “I dare you to call me a liar and if you do I’ll call you a racist.” Look for the same for Hillary: “You criticize me and I’ll call you a sexist.” Disgusting.

With the Obama Administration’s foreign policy failures, the affordable care act debacle, the IRS corruption, the Benghazi disaster and cover-up, and now the recent Iraq collapse and wasted years of conflict and U.S. sacrifice, one can only hope it’s pure incompetence rather than intentional malfeasance, but it is hard to tell the difference.

Like Nixon, our president is incompetent or a crook. Neither is good.
