Lacey In Tune outdoor concert series kicks off Wednesday at Huntamer Park.

TapWater, a sextet with its own twist on Americana music, will kick off the city of Lacey's Lacey in Tune Summer Concerts in the Park at noon Wednesday (June 25) at Hunthamer Park in Woodland Square.

The concert series, which includes local and regional acts, has noon Wednesday concerts from June 25 to Aug. 6 and 7 p.m. Saturday concerts from July 12 to Aug. 9.

Series organizers try to offer a wide variety of high-energy music styles. Here's the lineup and the type of music or entertainment.


July 2: HankaBillies; musical comedy, patriotic show.

July 9: Full Metal Racket (133rd Army Band); American pop.

July 16: Feelin' Groovy; Simon & Garfunkel Tribute

July 23: Jaspar Lepak; folk/Americana

July 30: Ko Ko Jo; rock and country

Aug. 6: Darren Motamedy; smooth jazz


July 12: LuLu LaFever & the Hot Tamales; swing, jazz and blues

July 19: Olympia Jazz Senators; big-band jazz

July 26: David Correa & Cascada; Latin guitar music

Aug. 2: Terry Holder; edgy, original, heartfelt songs

Aug. 9: Global Heat; hip hop soul with world beat Huntamer Park is on the corner of Seventh Avenue Southeast and Woodland Square Loop in downtown Lacey. On-street parking around the Woodland Square loop is permitted during concerts to accommodate park visitors.
