Gunn elected to refocus port on local businesses

June 30, 2014

There have been many members of this community that have praised Sue Gunn and her efforts as the new commissioner at the Port of Olympia. Part of Sue Gunn’s campaign issues were that since the port is funded and paid for by Thurston County taxpayers, its efforts should be directed to helping Thurston County businesses. I am with those voters. The Port of Olympia needs to focus on locally owned Thurston County businesses, clean up its environmental legacy of dioxin pollution and work for the taxpayers and citizens of Thurston County.
