Fire damages home in Tenino

A fire damaged a home in the 300 block of O’Brien Street in Tenino early Sunday morning.

According to Thurston County Fire District 12 administrative chief Christina Vanderhoof:

About 1:45 a.m. Sunday, Thurston County Fire District 12, along with several other fire districts, responded to a fire in the 300 block of O’Brien Street, across from Tenino’s city park.

The fire damaged an unoccupied, bank-owned, single-family residence, she said.

The cause of the fire and a damage estimate were not immediately available.
