Hunters who applied for a 2008 special-hunt permit can see if they lucked out with a visit to the state Department of Fish and Wildlife website.

Log onto http://198.238.33.69/. -- a strange web address -- to find out whether you'll take the field for a special hunt.

More than 60,000 hunters turned in 134,000 applications for special hunts. Animals that can be stalked during special hunts includes turkey, big horn sheep, mountain goat, moose, deer and elk.
