A Tumwater man escaped injury when his pickup collided with a motorcycle on State Highway 8 at 5 p.m. Sunday.
Gary L. Scott, 60, failed to yield the right of way when entering the highway from the median intersection, according to a state patrol report. Scott collided with Russell L. Crane, 51, Puyallup, who was eastbound on a 2007 Harley Davidson. Russell suffered “road rash,” the report said, and was taken by aid to the hospital. His motorcycle was towed.
Scott’s 1994 Ford Ranger sustained $2,000 damage and was driven from the scene, near milepost 9 in Grays Harbor County.
