Vehicle crashes into Lacey Applebees

THE OLYMPIAN | • Published July 21, 2008

A woman driving an SUV crashed into the Applebees restaurant on Sleater-Kinney Road in Lacey this afternoon.

A 7-year-old girl sitting at a table suffered minor lacerations on a hand. That was the only injury.

Investigators are looking into the possibility that the woman driver may have suffered some type of medical emergency while driving. A girl in the car with her was not injured.

The restaurant is still open, other than the area where the crash occurred.

The location is between the Sears at the South Sound Mall and the McDonald's across the street.
