Traffic camera focuses on west Olympia

A new traffic camera at state Route 101 and Cooper Point Road was activated Thursday.

State Department of Transportation crews are also installing traffic cameras in four spots along Interstate 5 in Olympia and Lacey and several local surface streets. Those cameras are set to go live by mid-October.
