Recap: San Jose vs. FC Dallas

FC Dallas (2-1-3) remained the top team in the Western Conference by earning a point in a scoreless draw at the San Jose Earthquakes in Major League Soccer action on Saturday night at Buck Shaw Stadium.

The two teams managed just four total shots on goal with Dallas' leading scorer Kenny Cooper leading all players with two.

With the draw, Dallas is one point up on the Los Angeles Galaxy in the West. San Jose (1-3-1) remains tied for last place with the back-to-back defending champion Houston Dynamo.

Dallas will have a chance to extend its lead when it travels to Real Salt Lake on Saturday while San Jose hosts the league's top team, Columbus, later the same day.
