Detectives arrested Brent Bouck of Centralia on suspicion of possessing child pornography, according to a news release from the Washington State Patrol.
Detectives with the State Patrol’s Missing Exploited Children Task Force and the Centralia Police Department arrested Bouck about 6 a.m. Wednesday after serving a search warrant at his home, on North Oak Street, according to the news release.
Bouck was booked at the Lewis County Jail on Wednesday on one charge of investigation of possession of images of minors engaged in sexually explicit conduct. He was being held without bail Thursday night at the jail, according to a jail booking roster.
A computer and computer-related media were taken as evidence during the search, according to the news release.
The task force received a report April 4 from the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children CyberTipline, according to the State Patrol. The tip mentioned a photo-sharing account that contained images of children engaged in sexually explicit conduct. The tack force traced the account to an e-mail address registered to Bouck, the State Patrol says.
Bouck was arrested and booked without incident, according to the State Patrol.
