Olympia police on Thursday released an artist's sketch of a suspect wanted in connection with an attempted rape that happened Sunday, at Priest Point Park, according to a report released Thursday.

The victim, who was attacked while walking through the park at 9:40 a.m. Sunday, worked with a police sketch artist from the Thurston County Sheriff's office to re-create a drawing of her attacker.

The suspect is described as a Hispanic male, 28-35 years of age, 5 feet 8 inches, approximately 200 pounds, with "scruffy, unkept hair," according to the victim's report. She also saw a tattoo similar to a tear drop near his left eye, a visible chipped tooth, and his breath smelled of tobacco and alcohol.

Anyone with information concerning this incident or the identity of the suspect, can call Det. Brenda Anderson, 360-753-8413, or the Thurston County Crime Stoppers, 360-493-2222.
