Hurricane Summary POSTED: November 8, 2009 4:02 p.m. Quieting Down in the Eastern Pacific No new tropical cyclones are expected to develop through the early part of this week. The Intertropical Convergence Zone is fairly active right now, west of about 110 west longitude, but thunderstorm activity is fairly disorganized at this point and any low pressure areas are generally weak. Any development would be slow to occur across this region. There is no threat to Mexico or Hawaii from any tropical system over the next several days.
