Olympia firefighters remained at the scene of an overnight fire at a west side apartment complex as they have yet to determine the cause for the blaze that caused about $50,000 in damages.
The fire occurred at about 2:40 a.m. at the Crown Pointe Apartments on the 2800 block of Limited Lane Northwest, a news release said.
Firefighters from Olympia and Tumwater were quick to extinguish the fire and successfully confined it to one unit on the third floor.
No injuries were reported. The family that had been living in the unit are currently staying at an area hotel, Asst. Chief Robert Bradley said this morning.
