Veterans, public invited to job fairs

Thurston County WorkSource has scheduled a two-part job fair from 1 p.m. to 4 p.m. Thursday at the Olympia National Guard Armory, 515 Eastside St. S.E. The first hour of the event is for veterans only, followed by a job fair for the general public from 2 p.m. to 4 p.m. More than 30 employers are expected to attend – including Lucky Eagle Casino, The Evergreen State College and Intercity Transit.

Those who plan to attend should come dressed for an interview and bring a resume or a generic application, WorkSource officials said.
