It must be fall, as Capitol Lake is full of ducks

We're pretty lucky to live here in South Sound, as there is so much to do and see outdoors.

Right now, our own Capitol Lake is a wildlife sanctuary for thousands of ducks on their migration south.

And it's a good time to take a walk around the lake -- bring a pair of binoculars or a spotting scope -- and see just how beautiful a duck can be. I've seen wood ducks, pintails, teal and other species this week.
