Joan Machlis, a candidate for Olympia City Council, said she is in favor of the city's policy of connected streets, with some exceptions. A story about a candidate forum on Page A1 in Thursday's Olympian was unclear.

An alleged drunken driver struck and injured a contract worker for the Department of Transportation on Wednesday night. Information from the Washington State Patrol was incorrect in a brief item on Page A3 in Thursday’s Olympian.
