Saint Martin’s professor wins engineering award

The Society of Women Engineers named Saint Martin’s University professor Amanie Abdelmessih as the 2009 recipient of the Distinguished Engineering Educator Award. She is a professor in the Department of Mechanical Engineering at Saint Martin’s, where she received tenure in 2001.

Abdelmessih received the 2001 Outstanding Faculty Award from the monks of Saint Martin’s Abbey, and colleagues elected her as a Society of Fellows member in 2005.
