Here's when you can find education news in The Olympian:

Sunday: Sunday Education, an in-depth look at a program or topic concerning schools and education. Also, a calendar of upcoming school events.

Monday: Inside the Classroom, which gives a look at local classes and school programs at South Sound schools

Wednesday, Thursday: Education page: Tips, announcements and other information about what's going on at South Sound schools

Friday: Student Spotlights, which features local middle and high school students

Submit your information

To get in the calendar or to be included in the education briefs:

Send your items to news@theolympian.com. It's helpful to include the time, date and location (address) of your event, as well as a phone number for contact information. Calendar and brief items run as space in the newspaper allows. Please submit items at least two weeks in advance of an upcoming event.
