THE OLYMPIAN |
South Sound high school seniors considering a career in health care can explore that field at a Nurse and Health Care Camp sponsored by Capital Medical Center, Providence St. Peter Hospital and South Puget Sound Community College. The free event will be July 7 to 9.
Participants will spend time at the college learning and at both hospitals shadowing health care professionals on the job. The senior students will be provided lunch each day and also will receive a free camp scrub top. Interested seniors must complete an application and be able to commit to the three-day event.
For more information and to receive an application, send an e-mail to madair@spscc.ctc.edu or hfudge@spscc.ctc.edu; or those interested may call 360-596-5285 or 360-596-5450. The deadline for applications has been extended to June 29 or until the camp is full. Space is limited.
