Commission candidate's supporters go door-to-door

Thurston County Democrats are organizing volunteers to ring doorbells in support of Commissioner Karen Valenzuela's election on Saturdays and Sundays.

Valenzuela, an appointee of Gov. Chris Gregoire, is being challenged by Republican Pat Beehler. Supporters also are organizing sign waving as the election approaches.
