• "Homeland Security USA," 8 p.m. on ABC. The premiere for a reality series about the agency that addresses internal and external threats to the United States begins with a search for undocumented immigrants along the U.S.-Mexico border and smugglers' attempts to sneak in drugs from Canada in baby diapers.

• "Biggest Loser: Couples," Season 7 begins by introducing the players, who will compete in pairs. Grandparents, best friends and former plus-size models are among the twosomes. The group also boasts the oldest contestant and the heaviest contestant in the show's history.

• "Dan in Real Life," 9:15 p.m. on Starz. Charming romantic comedy about a widowed advice columnist (Steve Carell) struggling to raise three daughters who falls in love with a French beauty (Juliette Binoche) — unaware she is his brother's girlfriend. Dane Cook, Alison Pill and Brittany Robertson co-star.

• "Primetime: What Would You Do?," 10 p.m. on ABC. The second-season opener for this hidden-camera series exploring how people react to various staged situations. Scenarios include a date-rape drug being slipped into a woman's drink; Latino customers being treated rudely at a New Jersey deli when they order in broken English; and American tourists in Paris behaving boorishly.
