What: Pyramid Sno-Park is a popular destination for snowmobilers and offers access to 68 miles of groomed trails. Snowmobiling is one of the state's most popular winter activities. Washington's Winter Recreation Program offers more than 3,000 miles of trails, including this large collection of trails near Greenwater.

Where: Near Greenwater
Getting there: Take state Route 410 one mile east of Greenwater to Forest Service Road 70 and continue east on FS 70 9.4 miles to Pyramid Creek.

Cost: A motorized sno-park pass is $30 or $12 for vintage snowmobiles.
Also: Pyramid Creek has 110 parking spots. Grooming updates can be checked at the web site. Reports are updated once a day. There are restrooms available at the trailhead and along the trail. No snowmobiles are allowed in the nearby Norse Peak Wilderness.
