Earlier this week, Crystal Mountain’s Facebook page had this message: “Two day snowfall: 31 inches. Season snowfall total: 346 inches. Stoke factor: unmeasurable.”
Conditions have been ideal for hitting the slopes of late. According to the National Weather Service, that likely will not change this weekend.
The forecast calls for snow above 1,000 feet today and over 2,000 feet Saturday. The snow level is predicted to be at 1,500 feet Sunday.
Backcountry skiers should check avalanche forecasts before heading out.
Reports are posted daily on the Northwest Weather and Avalanche Center website www.nwac.us.
