The Olympia Science Cafe is set for 7 p.m. Tuesday at Barnes & Noble Booksellers, 1530 Black Lake Blvd. S.W., Olympia.
Bellevue Community College chemistry professor Carole Berg will take on the role of Marie Curie, the winner of the 1903 Nobel Prize in physics for her work proving the existence of radioactive elements and isolating them.
The free public event is sponsored by the Puget Sound Chapter of the American Chemical Society.
