No shortage of things for kids to do

Parents should have no trouble finding kid-friendly fun at this year’s Puyallup Fair.

A slate of new and returning attractions, will keep kids occupied till they’re so tired they beg to be carried to the car.

Many of the children’s activities will take place in the Sillyville area between the Purple and Green entrance gates.

Full-price student tickets to the fair, for youth 6 to 18 years old, cost $8. Children 5 and younger are admitted free of charge.

Unless specified, the following attractions are in Sillyville and included with the price of admission to the fair.

 • “Al’s Brain: A 3-D Journey through the Human Brain,” a new national touring exhibit. See story, page 16.

 • Habitat for Humanity House. . Next to Paulhamus Arena.

 • Kiddy rides. Tickets required.

 • Celebrity characters at ToonzVille.

 • Face painting for kids 12 and younger.

 • Petting baby animals at the Fair Farm.

 • Shows in the Education Building.

 • Super-humongous pumpkins in the Americraft ShowPlex.

 • Check out the www.thefair.com for information on discounts and other attractions.
