Last night Olympia Councilmember Joe Hyer was arrested by the Thurston County Narcotics Task Force for allegedly selling marijuana, which is a potential felony act. It is my understanding that he was released from jail after posting bail and that the Thurston County Prosecutor will determine whether or not to file charges.
