Don't return Wilson to the county commission

Judy Wilson is trying to become a Thurston County commissioner again. There are several verifiable facts why we do not need Wilson as a commissioner.

Remember Proposition 1, where Wilson wanted to get 140 monitoring wells drilled in the county to monitor water quality and abundance and hire seven new hydrologists to monitor these wells at a huge cost to taxpayers? We already had thousands of wells being monitored by property owners annually!

Remember when Wilson wanted to tax every land owner $14 per year for having a septic system on their property?

Remember the storm water tax Wilson wanted to impose on every landowner in the county? Wilson wanted each land owner to pay for every square foot of impervious soil they had created, i.e.: houses, out buildings, garages, barns, driveways, parking lots, etc.; at a cost of hundreds per year to many land owners.

Remember the sludge turf farm in south county? Wilson and fellow commissioner Dick Nichols very adamantly argued for this to happen and approved the permit even after being presented with verifiable evidence against this type of farm in this area. The adjacent property owners in this area are still suffering from this decision by Wilson.

No, we do not need Judy Wilson to represent us as a county commissioner again.

Things are bad enough as they are without her adding to them.

Condo residents won't even shop downtown

Oh, Olympia where is your head? You are going to block the view of thousands for a condo complex with 141 units. And they are going to be very expensive, suitable for affluent elitists. Do you really think that these people are going to shop downtown Olympia? Can you see them going to Browsers, Darby's or any of the other wonderful shops and restaurants downtown? How much will these condos cost and who can afford them? Oh well, I live in Tumwater now and don't get to vote on this issue. I only have opinions.
