What: Street scrambles are growing in popularity in the Northwest. Whether you are a walker, runner or cyclist you can play this game. You will receive a map shortly before the race marked with about 30 checkpoints. Each checkpoint is assigned a point value. When the race starts, you will have 90 minutes to visit as many checkpoints as possible, answering a question on your scorecard at each stop. If you don’t return on time, you will lose points for each minute you are late. The player or team (teams must stick together at all times) with the most points wins.
When: Saturday, 9 a.m.
Where: Kitsap Bank, 619 Bay Street, Port Orchard
Getting there: From Highway 16 in Port Orchard take the Tremont Road Exit. Turn right on Tremont Street and then left on Port Orchard Boulevard. Turn right on Bay Street. The bank will be on your left.
