Looking for an opportunity to learn more about wine or taste something new? Here are South Sound wine-tasting events:

Local

• Labor Day Weekend Celebration at Walter Dacon Wines: Noon to 6 p.m. Aug. 30-Sept. 1, 50 Skookum Inlet Road S.E., Shelton. Enjoy live music, a dinner of fresh steamer clams or chicken, french bread, fruit kabobs and wine. $10 per person. Call 360-426-5913.
