For The Olympian
TriDog
I, a two-year-old bullmastiff Labrador cross, have been in the shelter since Jan. 18 waiting for you. If you look in kennel No. 59894, you will find me, a sweet natured, neutered, male dog. The shelter found me in a field in Yelm and called me Apollo. The fourth-grade girls who visited me decided to call me TriDog.
Would you like a description of my body? My cute, floppy ears match my velvety, black fur. I am always ready to play, my tail wagging constantly. My big, massive paws are ready to run at the drop of a hat. My huge, brown eyes are like giant Hershey kisses. The short fur I own is patched because of surgery. The legs on my body are strong, considering I have only three of them since I had an amputation.
Frisbee? Play? Now? OK! If you love to play, I am yours. I might need help getting into cars, but at least I love people, even though I dislike other dogs. I like it when people use me as a pillow. In return, I use people as a pillow! While the girls visited me, I smooched, walked, loved, laid down and did not bark. Do you have any peanut butter? That's my favorite treat, and I like to be rewarded frequently. Interested yet?
May Day! SOS! Help! I need a home with a six-foot-tall fence around the yard. I am very friendly and when I get excited, I tug, so I should wear a harness most of the time. I don't bite. At first, you might want a little extra food in my bowl and remember no other dogs in your house! If I am cooped up like I am now, I bark a lot. Roaming free in your yard will help me stay quiet.
TriDog, your puppy pal in kennel No. 59894, is waiting!
