Author Tim McNulty will give Feb. 9 a reading and discuss his book, "Olympic National Park, A Natural History." His presentation is the next program in Olympic National Park's Perspective series.
Twelve years after the book’s initial publication, there have been a number of new studies adding to the knowledge about the park. Using new research on glaciers, marmots, black bears, fishers, salmon and climate-driven changes in river dynamics, McNulty has recently released a new version of his book.
McNulty also is an award-winning poet and lives in Sequim.
The program is scheduled to begin at 7 p.m. at the Olympic National Park Visitor Center, 3002 Mount Angeles Road, Port Angeles.
Never miss a local story.
Admission is free but seating is limited and attendees are urged to arrive early.
The series is held on the second Tuesday of each month.
