1 killed in Yelm crash

Dean Sorensen, 41, was killed in a single-car crash in Yelm at 6:07 p.m. Tuesday evening.

According to a Washington State Patrol report, Sorensen was driving a 2006 Kia Spectra northeast on Bald Hills Road at North Clear Lake Boulevard when the vehicle left the road and struck a utility pole. Sorensen died at the scene. He was wearing his seat belt.

The cause of the crash is under investigation.
